This was the first videogame I created. It was a classic RPG, implemented using the RPG Maker 2000 tool. The key point of the game is its story; I focused my effort on it.

Game Story

Year 2020, Mallorca island, in the middle of the Mediterranean sea, is finally sold to Germany due to the crisis situation in Spain. Mallorca people completely oppose to this transaction and being sure that they are the right owners of that land, they start a rebellion against Germans. After long time fighting, the island gets completely destroyed and It’s then when both sides, Germans and Mallorquins, see what have they done to their island. Both country governments decide to amend it and decide to make the island what once it was. They start a project, leaded by a private corporation, to return Mallorca to its land origins, before the war and even before all the tourism destroy the island, the project was named Mallor-K Project.

The project consists of isolating the island from the rest of the world, trapping it inside a giant bubble and returning it to some kind of middle age. The project even includes the creation of new animal species genetically modified to make people afraid of leaving their towns and, obviously, make them never thinking about the possibility of escaping from the island.

The game starts 600 years after the end of the war and the implementation of Mallor-K Project. Inside a forgotten bunker, one guy awakes from his frozen sleep. He has been frozen for more than 600 years by an error and doesn’t remember exactly why he decided to get frozen.

The game starts with our main character, Tomeu, trying to find out what happened there, why he decided to get frozen and then, try to escape from the bunker. To go out from the bunker he must, first, re-establish electrical power to the main computer and then open the bunker main doors. Along this mission, he discovers all the relevant data.

When he finally escapes from the bunker and reach the surface, a new world waits for him, a world stuck in a kind of middle-age with monsters. He is the only one that remembers about the old Mallorca and the German war.
